The Piccolomini Library - Bibliotecca Piccolomini -Siena

This is one  of my favorite places in all of Italy.  I could just look at the detail in these paintings for hours (and I have - and photographed them). There is color, detail, and whimsy... It's always an enjoyable visit.

I have been to some of these towns... They are truly beautiful.
