Delicioso!

Italian Food, Glorious Food!

Take a moment to check out some of my recent photos from Italy... This gorgeous cake (torta) looks like a gift! It was in a Gelato shop in Modena (yes, we will go there!)

Our friend makes his own Balsamic vinegar (aceto balsamico). YES, we will visit a balsamic factory in the Modena area (only TRUE balsamic comes from this area).

My husband, Ray, enjoying a HUGE calzone filled with salami, cheese (formaggio), ham, tomato sauce, onions, mushrooms, and sausage.
Did that make YOU hungry (Io ho fame -  eee-ooo   ooo   fam -ea).

We will eat here in Murano sul Panaro.

Can't stand that these shoes are made of CHOCOLATE??? We found them (around $300 EACH) at La Rinascente, Italy's most prestigious department store.
And this pumpkin ravioli were outstanding...

Rick Steves free webinar this Saturday!

Ciao...
This came across my Facebook page tonight. SA Students: you will find Rick's videos very helpful. Scan the web for them.
BUT... Make sure to watch the webinars this Sat. See below.

My staff and I are teaching a full day of classes in my hometown of Edmonds, Washington this Saturday – and you’ll be able to watch many of them online for free!
Just click this link on Saturday, November 1, to join in on the fun. You’ll see eight information-packed slideshow presentations complete with the latest European travel tips, insights, and discoveries. Plus, I will be teaching a brand-new class to help make your sightseeing more meaningful: Art for Travelers. During this four-hour class, we’ll take a practical and fun sweep through the story of Europe from the fall of Rome to the rise of the EU.
Here’s the full schedule of classes you can watch online this Saturday. All classes will be taught by me unless otherwise noted.
