STUDY ABROAD FAIR 11/18-11/19/14

The Dewar College of Education 
and Human Services 
at Valdosta State University
will host its first ever 
STUDY ABROAD FAIR 
in the first floor lobby.

Stop by between 
10 AM and 1 PM
both days for 
cookies and 
hot chocolate 
as you browse 
the tables 
of the various programs that 
VSU offers.

A year ago, the Study Abroad in Italy Program 
was not even 
on the drawing table. 

Now we have 4 students registered.

YOU will be credited with 100% of what you sell!!!

Here's the information:

Travel Voucher Raffle
o   100% of earnings will be applied to the final payment
o   Students will sell raffle tickets:
§  1 ticket for $2
§  20 tickets for $20
o   Raffle for two travel vouchers from Fellowship Travel International
§  1st Prize - $1000
§  2nd Prize- $500
o   Travel voucher can be applied to anything Fellowship Travel offers.
§  Airfare (domestic or international)
§  Hotel
§  Travel Insurance
§  Tour packages
§  International Cell Phones

Carrara Marble being Harvested

Have you ever wondered about the marble that is the base for sculptures, such as Michelanglo's  David and the Pietas?

While we won't be visiting Carrara during the Study Abroad Program, we will see lots of marble statues, altars, floors, countertops, and other things made from the world famous marble.
